Data requests, export & deletion
How to export your workspace, delete one person for a data-subject request, and delete your workspace.
You are the controller of your customers' data; Atune processes it for you. Everything you need to answer a data-subject request is in Settings → Data and privacy.
Delete one person
Enter your own user id, their email, or both. Atune deletes:
- the person and their memberships in every account,
- their events, plus events whose properties contain their email,
- an account that only they belonged to (an account of one),
- their rows in the 7-day ingest log, agent tasks that mention them, and outbound sync records.
Account health is recomputed on the next run. Records already sent to your own tools (Attio, HubSpot, webhooks) live there and must be deleted there.
If your app used the SDK's email fallback, the person is stored under a
pseudonymous eh_… id; searching by email finds it.
Export your workspace
Download export gives you a JSON Lines file: one {"type", "data"} record per
line for the workspace, accounts, users, people, events, health scores and
inbox. Secrets such as the API key are never included.
Delete your workspace
Type the workspace name to confirm. Everything is deleted at once and you are signed out. Backups are overwritten within 14 days. Cancel a paid subscription under Billing first.
Requests that reach Atune
If a person contacts Atune directly at privacy@useatune.com, we forward the request to you and do not act on it without your instruction.
